Frequently Asked Questions
How long does custom framing take?
Most framing projects are completed within 5–7 working days. Urgent commissions can be accommodated — please mention your deadline when requesting a quote.
Do I need to bring my artwork in person?
Yes — for an accurate quote we recommend bringing your piece to the studio so we can assess size, condition, and discuss finish options. For large or fragile works, please call ahead so we can prepare accordingly.
What is included in the framing price?
Every quote includes the frame moulding, matboard (where applicable), UV-protective glass, acid-free backing, and professional fitting. There are no hidden costs — the price quoted is the price you pay.
Can I pay a deposit and collect later?
Yes. We require a 50% deposit upon dropping off your artwork, with the balance due on collection. We accept cash and EFT payments.
Are art classes suitable for children?
Our classes are currently structured for adults (16+). However, if you're interested in classes for younger students please get in touch — we occasionally arrange special youth sessions depending on demand.
Do I need any prior experience to join an art class?
Absolutely not. Complete beginners are warmly welcome. Alain tailors instruction to each student's level, so whether you're picking up a brush for the first time or refining advanced techniques, you'll be right at home.
